Fees and Insurance

The fee for the first session (consultation) is $175. Subsequent visits for individual counseling are $135, and for couples counseling $145. For your convenience, I accept most major credit cards, as well as cash and checks. Many insurance plans include mental health coverage for individual counseling and I encourage you to call your particular plan to check whether or not you have this benefit.

If you decide to use your mental health benefits and I belong to the insurer’s panel of providers, I will be happy to do the insurance billing for you. Please note the unfortunate fact that most insurance plans do not cover couples counseling. If you do not have insurance coverage, or if you choose not to use the coverage you have, and are undergoing financial hardship, I am willing to discuss fee reductions on a case by case basis.
